Youthika Anbu
Oil Painting

I am a senior at Evergreen Valley High School. I have been enjoying painting for over 10 years and draw my inspiration from books, movies, birds, and animals. Meraki Galeria was founded to raise funds for nonprofits, libraries, and schools.

In elementary school, I won several prizes for my paintings, one of which was a rooster. I remember using different brush techniques and colors for the rooster; long, blue strokes for the tail feathers and short brown strokes for the body. I enjoyed using varied, colorful lines to create art that stood out.

My art has expanded from just animals to other interests including scenes from movies, lyrics of songs, and still life. My gallery currently contains both art that I have done recently and many years before.

Tejot Kaur
Acrylic Painting

Hi! I'm Tejot Kaur and I love to paint! I like to try many different techniques and forms of painting like watercolor, acrylic, oil, etc. Painting is one of my many hobbies, which I have been doing for around 5 years! I love to paint random things I find around the house such as phone cases, clocks, boxes, etc. :)

Joanna S.
Sketches and Watercolor Painting
I'm Joanna, and art was my very first hobby and still is a major part of my life! I mainly draw portraits of all kinds of people, including celebrities! Most of my work celebrates femininity and aesthetics with makeup and fashion. I also like to draw plants (mainly flowers), as well as birds, both of which I enjoy learning about. I enjoy making sketches, mainly using pens. When I paint, I typically use watercolor gouache (I especially like metallic paint for a shiny touch) with muted colors and bright accents. The other medium I work with is digital art, where I'm currently having fun experimenting with my style.
